Privacy

What RustPro keeps about you, and why. This covers the site, the launcher and the servers listed here.

What we keep

• Steam identity. Your Steam ID, name and avatar, from Steam when you sign in. Steam never shows us your password.
• Your PCs. A name and a scrambled hardware ID for each PC you use the launcher on, so nobody can use your sign-in from another machine.
• Play history. When you joined which server, kept for moderation.
• Bans. If you are banned: the reason, when and until when.
• Update reports. Whether launcher downloads worked, without your name.

What we do not keep

No e-mail, no payments. Your chat and gameplay stay on the server you play on.

Servers

Each server is run by its owner, who is responsible for what it records (chat, positions, inventories).

Deleting your data

Ask in Discord with your Steam ID. Bans are kept while they last.
